Default M48-0 Magnums

Pic for a Sunday. Top 6",2nd month production, 1959, M48-0 in it's numbered box, 2nd. 8 3/8" M48-0, 3 T's, from 1960, that lettered as a K-38, bottom early 1961 8 3/8", M48-0, also a 4 screw. The ammo is from 1959 and has no child warning. I don't think these in the 8 3/8" are as scarce as the K22 or the K38's with the 8 3/8" bbls. I also have a nickle M48-3, 8 3/8". Big Larry

I love the .22magnum out of a rifle length barrel..... 16" plus.

Two of my favorite "walking in Penn's Woods" guns are my 20" CZ 452FS/mannlicher and a 18" RAR Compact; both in .22magnum.

How much better does the .22 mag preform vs a .22lr out of the shorter revolver barrel??????

Could not tell you. I have never fired one of these. I used to have a M61 Winchester in 22 Mag. and it had a scope. Don't remember anything about it. That was in the early 70's.
I do not shoot my collectibles. Thanks, Big Larry
