Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! It's a bit older than that. From 1910 - 1911. It has been refinished outside the factory in nickel. If you have the gun, look under the barrel on the ejector rod flat to see if there's a B in front of the serial number. If so, it was originally blued. These .32 Long revolvers are a hoot to shoot. You should talk your buddy into taking you to the range.

I'd also say the nickel finish is not original, and not a very good job either. The closest SN I have listed is 1477xx which shipped in 11/11, so for sure it is a bit earlier than that one. It would be called a .32 Hand Ejector, Model of 1903, Fifth Change.

As DWalt posted, #134854 is a ".32 Hand Ejector Model of 1903 - 5th Change" from 1910-11.

It looks very Nice! But it has been nickel plated or re-nickel plated.

Is there a B preceding the serial # on the barrel or rear face of the cyl? That will tell us if it was originally blue or nickel.
