Have a model 10 hand eject, fixed sights, 4" barrel, serial C838770, would like to know approximate date of manufacture!

1966-1967. Welcome to the forum. That gun would now be eligible for purchase with a C&R License as it is over 50 years old now.

C928xxx is as close as I can get to yours (shipped 7/67). 4" barrel.

Welcome. We carried nickel Model 10s 4" as LEOs back in the 1970s-80s. Here is mine. Made in 1977.
