Default Need Help Aging a pair of K-22's

I've been looking for a birthday gun and ran across these two K-22's. Would someone please give me their best guess on their year of manufacture. The first K-22 has a serial # K216xx. The second one has the serial # K2151xx. I'm looking for a revolver made in 1955. Thanks in advance for your help.

K216xx probably shipped around mid-1948 and is in the 1948 manufacturing range (K18,732 – K73,121)

K2151xx probably shipped sometime in 1955 based upon nearby SNs on my list but it is in the 1954 manufacturing range (K210096-K231255)

Default New K22 from 1955, conformation welcome.

Like this one? I just stumbled across this and was happy to have done so. I purchased it online (GB) for $500 from a pawn shop. I dumped the Pachmayers and am in the decision process of what I might put on it, I'm thinking target diamond magnas. Great case hardened colors on this jewel.

excellent price! I'd get diamond targets if you have large hands or diamond magnas with a grip adaptor if not

I agree with ARJAY the diamond target are great and you may want to consider a pair of presentation grips.

All good options and I was originally holding out for a nice pair of diamond magnas or target but I just saw a beautiful pair of presentation stocks on a M18 in a new link today and thought why not? I was trying to keep it somewhat period correct with the magnas as the targets are a bit large for me but to do so I would put a Tyler T's on the magnas and at the present those folks are on my **** list so I'm thinking presentation. Thanks
