NOS Victory grip source
An Ebay vendor is listing NOS USGI Victory grips for about $13.00 + shipping. He only has the right panels but that is perfect for those of us with mismatched grips. I for on would rather have a field replacement part than one with the wrong S/N.

Once in a while, you will see listings of only left side panels, for similar costs. Don't tell the sellers of right side panels! Just buy them all and sell complete sets for $50+ ! Ed.

There is also SARCO. If you are OK without a SN, you can remedy the situation. Simply take the right side stock with the SN and apply a hot steam iron over the SN. You will want to take a piece of old T-Shirt and dampen it and also lay it over the SN and apply hot iron to it. Same process as you would use to remove a dent from wood items like furniture.
Apply the iron on the damp t-shirt which is over the SN and press for a minute or two. Check it out, apply a bit more water to t-shirt and apply iron until SN basically fills in. The SN should pretty much disappear. If need be a light sanding and apply damp t-shirt piece and hot iron again.
It is pretty much a 5 to 10 minute process.
P.S. - I have not tried it on a stock/grip but it has worked for me numerous times on antique clock cases made of walnut and other woods and recently on a modern day secretary furniture piece. I am speaking of solid wood and not veneer.

That's the process I use to raise dents from gunstocks before refinishing. Works great but buy your own iron (used - cheap) It leaves a lot of residue on the iron and ruining the wife's makes for a very bad day.

I think that might be the purpose of the scrap of t-shirt. I have always used it and never thought of its requirement till now.
It will be interesting to hear how well it works on a numbered stock.

Then there is this guy on e-Bay. I didn't post the link, but this is the description. If you enter it into the search bar, you get a big bag of grips.
