Model 43 2" blue (correction black anodized) round butt

WOW!
Very rare, not only for the uncatalogued 2" barrel but with rd butt only cataloged from '59 to '62.
In supreme condition with a flat latch to boot.

I believe this one is 1956 one of 40 made in 2"...

If the gun was made in 1956, then is it a Model 43, or a "Pre-Model 43?"
