Default Looking for info and pics of prewar Micro sighted revolvers with King style ribs

What little I know is that when D.W. King died his employees left to form the Micro Sight Co. and began copying the classic King rib and Cockeyed hammer, among other King patented items. King's wife's lawyers filed suit against them in 1955 and the court forbade Micro to continue making the patented items. It's doubtful that more than a very few of the King look-alikes made it onto the market so they would be extremely rare today. I have owned one (a Colt Police Positive .38, 6") and have found another, but have never seen any more. Can anyone shed some more light on this obscure subject? Pictures? Literature? Thanks guys.

Actually not near as rare as you might think.

A prewar Masterpiece with a micro cockeyed hammer sold a couple weeks back on GB.

Just this past winter I held a Colt revolver with Micro full rib on top. Their version was a lot clunkier looking and much heavier.

Sorry I have no pictures to share, but I might be able to get some pics of the ribbed gun if I the owner hasn't sold it yet.

Thanks Rich. I just bought a Colt Officers' Model .22 with a Micro rib (and the world's ugliest grips) on Gunbroker.

I have no Micro ribbed guns and I cannot recall seeing any, but... I have a K32 with a Micro cockeyed hammer...

... but just standard sights.

Would really like to see some pics if ever you might share some.

A King ribbed Colt OM 22 is on my wish list. A k22 one is too for that matter.

Rich, it might be easier for you if you just listed what you don't have.
