22/32 heavy frame
Probably refinished, but for the gun show price, I'm tickled with this pre war piece of history.

Funny you should mention one of these revolvers.
I took my grandson out today and we busted a few Aquafina bottles full of water with my newly acquired 22/32 with the original target stocks. Mine is probably from the late 20's, early 30's, and is a good 98%. Bought it from a family member who had no clue for $400 shipped. Fun gun to shoot, but only with standard velocity ammo. The earlier guns do not have recessed cylinders. Big Larry

That's a fine pre 1928 HFT! Especially with the India Sambar stag. I'm sure they feel better than the factory stocks that came on it.
If you post the serial # or partial # we can date it for you. Or send in a private message.
Does it have MADE IN USA stamped on the right side frame?

444xxx.
I'd have to look on the MADE IN USA stamping. I do not remember seeing it. Should it be there?
It does have the optional gold bead front sight which I like.
*I looked and it is stamped MADE IN USA.*

Pretty good, but they are building a school where parking used to be. I like Cave City, KY best, but Sparta is nearly as good.

Based on features of your gun, I was pretty certain it did.
That stamping was ordered in May of 1922 and began showing up on guns within ~6 months.
Here are two very near your 444XXX with confirmed sipping dates:
444595 HFT shipped in October, 1926
444707 HFT shipped March 8, 1927
