Default Came across this old one yesterday

Obviously at Cabela’s. Nickel on the other side wasn’t bad. Missing a bit on the barrel, but considering it’s approx age not bad. Wood want bad either in my opinion.

Still decent case color on the trigger and hammer as well.

Not much can be said about it, other than it is likely from pre-1920. No SN, no caliber. The price seems somewhat high to me.

So it does. I did look at the "ID" number, but it's too high to be a SN.

I got a few good deals at Cabela's several years ago, but in the past 6+ years, most guns start out at 2x the going rate. Lots of incorrect descriptions, too.

The cylinder was a bit difficult to close. My guess is it needs a really good internal cleaning. Reminded me of my Model of 1899 that was made in 1902. I thought the price was a bit high, not crazy but a bit.

They also no longer do the 5% discount on used guns for military or vets since Bass Pro owns them now.

I wonder if some similar chrome polish lightly will clean her up?

The cylinder is hard to close because of lack of lube. Some oil on the lock up pin and some moly or grease on the ramp.

Or a tweaked crane. Be careful about checking it out before buying.
