Gentlemen,
What was the first year the .44 Special Target Model was available? I'm talking about the ones with adjustable sights.

It became available in 1908 with introduction of the New Century.

That would be the Triple-Lock Target @1908 in 44 Special and a few other calibres. AKA- New Century, and 1st Model 44 Hand Ejector.

Some models were only made as target models but any model could be had with target sights by special order in the pre war era, before they became standard as separate versions of most models in the post war era.
