Range report on K38 Masterpiece
Finally got to the range with the K38 I bought while on vacation. It did its part without a hitch. It needed a good cleaning before I took it but functioned flawlessly at the range. One of these days I will figure out how not push two or three shots to the left. The old gun did its part. I am well pleased with it.

One thing about that target, with you shooting a Masterpiece we know who's fault that flyer was.

I would have to say that you need two clicks to the right if you were shooting single action. However, if you were shooting double action, I would blame the target trigger!
I have found that when shooting any stage of a NMC, my groups suffer if I don't shoot single action.

By the way, this gun and my wife came into this world in early 58. Therefore its name is Little Debbie. Think I will hang on to both of them.

I have a close friend who can't hit a 4 inch group in a 6 inch circle at 7 yards with his K38 but it's still in the 6 inch circle so I say he won.

Most of my shooting is done standing, double action at 7 to 10 yards. I would be thrilled to see a few holes anywhere on the paper at 50 yards. 25 yards is about my limit. I make no claims of being a great shot. I am not. That being said most of the people who shoot at the local indoor range make me feel much better about my shooting. I do enjoy putting holes in paper.

At that range and with that barrel you should make that X disappear with a little practice.

So was that 7 or 10 yards?
Great gun and shooting and I bet you're excited!
