Default Austin PD 38/44 HD - Rack #70 - Shipped June 3rd, 1952

Although I am not actively seeking out law enforcement guns, I have had the oppourtunity to add 4 of them to my collection. I will post photos of the others as well.

The drool is making my keyboard too slick to type as I roll down the list of new messages in this forum. I once had an APD gun but Ringo1597, the retired AOD cop wanted it more than he wanted to keep his M25 Jovino. I think he told me that there were only a limited number of nickel gun, and they were for the brass.

Randy, are you referring to the Jovino gun as limited in Nickle? All the APD guns were Nickle.

I must be getting foggy...anything more than a year ago is dim history. The Jovino I got from Larry is blue. The APD that I got, a few days after I got it, I dragged it to a gun show where I was set up close to Larry. And, that was the last I saw of it. I grabbed his personal Jovino and stuck it in my pocket. We still left as friends So, I stand corrected. I thought most APD HD's were blue. Glad you corrected me.
