What gun for next purchace ?
I'm wondering what to gun to search for next. So far I've found a K-22 1957, 5 Screw Pre 27, 5 Screw Pre 29, And a 4 Screw 29, That's my older guns. Thinking of a Hand ejector forth model Target AKA Pre 24. Have plenty of .44 mags but mostly shoot specials or light mags out of them. Or possibly a .38 .44 heavy duty. I,m not seeing very many Pre 24,s on GB lately though

How about something in 41 mag.?That is what I have been looking for as my next piece. Regular 1905's in non target dress are far more numerous to pick from but if you can find a nice target version that is affordable would be good. I just like the finish on the depression era guns just like black ink.

The ones you put on a list are gonna be the hardest to find. Get your hands on as many as you can and buy what appeals to you - for whatever reason....

I don’t know how you could go wrong with either, but my own preference would be for an Outdoorsman rather than the Heavy Duty. An older, round-barrel Outdoorsman is something I’ve always admired but never could spend the money to buy one. I’ve only seen two, if memory serves, in buying condition.

I would get any of the 1950 "N" frame models. Target or military. That does include the 38/44 HD. These models do surface now and then. Also, you could not go wrong with any of the suggestions of the other posters. The list is endless. Only limited to the thickness of your wallet.
Good luck on your quest.

I tend to purchase what ever presents itself next. Purely by chance.

Well, i have purchased quite a few pieces recently. Most above shooter grade, so, I would like a 28 shooter, and a K-22 shooter. Come to think of it I need a 29 shooter

You are in a gut. Go to the dark side and get a Mod-52.
I just like them all. Give it a try.

I just scout around and when I find something rare and/or unusual, I try to buy it. I already have all of the basic niches re: hunting and self defense covered.

In keeping with the timeframe of the guns you already have I'd be looking for a pre-24 or pre-26. Since you won't find either of those in the first shop you visit, be prepared for targets of opportunity; any of those named by posters above. Enjoy the hunt.
