Custom Stocks Identification?
I just picked up these N frame stocks and need the help of the experts as to the maker. Due to the lack of jig holes, and because the screw enters from the right, I'm sure they are not Ropers. Beyond that, I haven't a clue.
They enclose the backstrap, and have a palm swell.

They are made by Cloyce.

Appear to be Cloyce... I’m confident they were not made by Farrant, Hurst, or Sanderson.

Would be good if someone could put together pictures of typical grips from the more famous custom makers as an ID reference. I know nothing other than what the standard factory grips from Colt and S&W look like. Some here surely have examples.

Most certainly Cloyce.
Honestly, after finally owning examples of just about all of the different classic makers for the post-war period I prefer his work to pretty much anyone. I get the impression he was really paying attention to what the gun did under recoil with his stocks, in a way that few other makers seemed to really get (or care about). Plus he clearly enjoyed nice pieces of wood and put a lot of care into not only making them very functional but also attractive.
I'm a big fan.

Wow! Thanks for the education. I must admit to never having heard of Cloyce.
These feel good in the hand, for shooting in SA mode. The enclosed backstrap makes the trigger reach a bit long for my hand in DA.
