Default Shipped on an Advertising Account

I bought this today. I looked at this .38 M&P Airweight two years ago at a show. I gave him my card. The owner called me this morning, completely out of the blue. Was I still interested in his revolver. I made him what I thought was a fair offer. His reply stunned me. He said, "That's too much". He told me he'd accept my offer, but for $200.00 less. Being we live about 15 miles apart, we agreed to meet at a point halfway, a cemetary! We figured it was better there and not on Main Street. Turns out the revolver is in absolutely mint condition with matching stocks. When I got it home I checked the shipping records. Serial number C22426X shipped on March 24, 1953 to "Advertising Account". A further check shows four other .38 M&P Airweights shipped in February, March and April 1953. Two were also listed as shipped on Advertising Accounts. One other went to Walter Sanborn, S&W and Dan B. Wesson, S&W. It does have the aluminium cylinder.

I don't remember seeing a "fishhook" style hammer on a J frame before.

You still haven’t seen one! That’s a K frame.
