22/32 prices?
I have been looking for a J frame 22 for a while now.
Came across a 22/32 with a SN of 132**, I think it is from 1954 or 55? Comes with the solid condition factory box (SN in hand written on the bottom of box), correct blued steel SAT and cleaning tools. With just a warranty card.
Finish on the gun is pretty good. Light muzzle wear, and two very small spots with blue missing on the barrel. If I were to give it a percentage rating I would call the gun a solid 90%. Grips # to gun
Asking price is $1,150.00.
The gun is not what I am looking for, but was kind of shocked at the asking price. Am I out of touch with value or is it priced high?

I have followed quite a few of these on a certain auction sight sounds like a $600-700 package to me. I am no expert though YMMV.

4"or 6"?
if a 6" it is a pre-35 and the price is probably pretty decent, maybe good?

4” gun. I was thinking with the box and tools it may go as high as $800 in better 95% condition. This gun is not a 95.

Randy,
You're right. Maybe a tad more for a sq butt. They're a little scarce in that period. And it's a 4 screw Model of 1953 New I frame. Likely shipped ~ 5/55.
Chukar,
Does it have a target trigger?

I think that it is a tad high especially in 90% condition. I have watched the pre war .22/32's sit on the market for over a year at prices over $1,000. The only ones that seem to sell are in as new condition.

Randy, no target trigger.
I went back to the LGS to check on another gun and asked about the kit gun. Was told it was a consignment and they showed me a mid 50’s Pre 27 that the same seller had for sale. It was likewise priced very optimistically. Think he took market and then added the stores commission to arrive at his price tags.
