Default Finish restoration service ??

Just might send my 32 long Ctg to be refinished. Mechanically it’s good, cosmetically it’s rough. Lots of staining, rust, and light to medium pitting. Interested in finding a refinishing service that will return to me a GOOD looking newly blued gun. Thanks for any info

If your gun has much pitting it's highly unlikely any reblue job will make
it look like new. Enough metal would have to be removed to erase all
pitting and the results would be very obvious.

You'll want some that can do restoration services as well as re-finishing. And to look original you'll want Carbonia bluing, not the hot dip used on guns today that looks black instead of blue.

Carbonia Refinish: See post #12 for example here: Looking for Suggestions for a Refinishing Shop

He recommended Glenn Fewless in Waterford, WI, (262) 534-5154. He's a metalsmith and member of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild: ACGG | Glenn Fewless: ACGG | Glenn Fewless
He micro welds guns with bad pitting.
