Wichita PD Non-Reg Mags
Anyone have one of the Wichita PD Non-Reg Mags? Humpback or standard hammer? Any new revelations on these? This one was used but not abused. Letter doesn't mention hammer and this is non-grooved Humpback.

I have sent for the documents from S&WHF (of course ). Searching the forum, I found a 2007 post by Lee that quoted Roy saying these 25 WPD guns were the last order before WWII. "62409 was second, with one lower number" (which I think is this one), "and rest scattered through 62483" A very few others were shipped during the war with 62485 Phil Roettinger 1942, last one 62489 in 1943.

I have 62477 which was in that same shipment to Wichita PD as the OP's. Mine has the standard hammer.
