2 in.5 screw M P
Picked this 2 in. MP up today at a local gun show,paid too much,but had to have it.Serial # C74939 can you tell when made?It seams to be in decent shape.Grips # to the gun C74939.

Oh yeah, round butt, early 1950's, 2" M&P. with pre war stocks. I paid too much for mine... doubt you did for yours. Beautiful and an delight to hold... don't you just want to put it under your pillow?
C53xxx shipped in April, 1949, same config.

This one is C1593XX. Some of the more experienced collectors here on the forum placed its birthday as being in the spring of '51.

Can’t beat a 5 screw round butt snub. I had to settle for this one at least it has the box...
