That shows what to look for when buying older Smith Revolvers. ???

If and when I ever get my meat hooks into a one, I wanna know how to spot a problem.

Check out this video from GunBlue490- it's mostly on disassembly / re-assembly of S&W revolvers, but the last 15 minutes or so may contain what you're looking for. I've found it to be an excellent reference.

I'll check the one out from Larry too. But you were right tsbccut. The last 20 minutes of that one were really informative!! Thank you.

I think my 442 has a tiny bit of endshake. My Colt DS has some too. My Model 19, no endshake that I can tell....

I wonder if that's why the colt sometimes spits some lead out the sides.....
