Folks, we all like to look at pictures and discuss the wonderful handguns built by S & W. However, when you are posting about the post-war WW II revolvers, remember this: there are more than just one 1950 Target.

There are .44 Specials. There are .45 ACPs and there are special order .45 Colts. Even the pre M 27s are referred to as 1950s by some folks.

So, we love to see 1950 revolvers, but please ID the caliber.

The .357 mag became a pre 27 in 1950 like the others you mentioned.
