Default Found some Ropers

Too bad they're for a righty.

I figured they need to go on a target gun to look right so here they are...

These originally came off a mid-30's 44 serial 48216

There's never a better excuse to learn to shoot opposite hand if you haven't tried already.

Very nice grips!
I never tire of seeing a new set on the forum and my heart actually starts thumping when I see a new thread.LOL

Many Roper grips have scratched in serial and/or caliber numbers on the back. About half of mine do.

The only explanation I can think of is that numbered grips might have been fitted to some guns before being shipped to whoever ordered them.

It would be interesting to make a small list of serial numbers from backs of Ropers and find out if most of them were shipped to individuals.

Default Leftys

Just to keep the proper balance, here's a set made for those of us who shoot with the correct hand. On my beat-up old Colt that also has Roper sights.
