Default Picked Up A Two-Tone Pre-27 :)

Usually stay on the 44 magnum side of the fence, but absolutely was unable to resist this stunning 357 magnum pinto! Sought out and failed many times trying to acquire a RM or Pre-27 3 1/2" barrel example, and finally was able to bring home one of my grail guns in a two-tone finish! The smooth rosewood target stocks are fabulous and my terrible pictures do not do them justice!

Yessiree bob! How long did it take you to get a letter request in the mail In all respects it look righteous to me. I can say that as I have its twin right down to the non relieved rosewood targets. Truly outstanding! That has to be on the top of most anyone's grail list. Congratulation!

I missed this one the first time around. That pinto is a beauty!!! I for one, would love to know where and when it shipped. My guess for the where is Rex in NY, HH Harris in Chicago, or Oshmans in Houston.

Now a word of caution: Be careful as the pintos seem to want to multiply and feeding a herd of them gets kind of pricey:

Default Pinto

Stunning, amazing, and grail gun, does indeed define that beauty. How fortunate for you, and, congrats!

Congratulations!!! Always nice to see a Pinto Pre-27, they are pretty hard to come by. It seems only the non-engraved variants are still out there because Richard owns all of the engraved ones.

Hey, hey... not so (but not for lack of trying). I know of at least two other engraved 3.5" pintos out there that have not made their way into the RKmesa corral... In a spirit of full disclosure, since the above group photo was taken, there have been a couple more engraved 3.5" "stray" pintos that have wandered out here to the AZ looking for greener pastures and the safety of a larger herd.

Based on my experience, it appears to be more common to find a 3.5" engraved pinto, and much less common to find a longer barreled engraved pinto out there. But I keep looking.

Very happy to see Salox's beautiful Pinto, and I remember Quinn's to be mint in the box. I smile the big smile just thinking about them. I appreciate it whenever anyone shares photos of their beauties.
