OK, OK! You have been officially bitten. I'm pretty hard core and I can only remember ever buying two in one day ONCE. But, if you start late you've got to peddle harder to catch up!Will tomorrow be a 3 gun day? The flat latch Chief looks pretty durn nice.

"S#216455"

Is that a serial number and was it taken from the butt of the revolver?

Yes, but, The angle in the picture is poor so can't be 100 percent sure.

I'm a revolver guy, but I have a 1911 almost like that. You're going to like that 1911.

Tracking shows these 2 S&Ws being at my FFL holder tomorrow. Fill out the forms, pay his fee, walk out the door. Maybe a range stop also.

No but I did buy a 625, a 380 and a 1940 Lee Enfield. Further comments on these need to be in a different forum. The Chief gets me to 3 S&W snubs.

Model 36 no dash arrived today. Serial number is 216455, matched on right grip. Shiny blue with a little wear. A few scratches and a couple spots of rust.
