Default Correct box for a 4” 4-screw 44 Mag S1888xx

What is the correct box for a 4” .44 Magnum 4-screw? Serial #S1888xx

J.C. 44 Magnums in the S188000 serial number range are difficult to determine the correct case as they shipped in 1959 into 1960. My best guess is a dark blue to black case with a smooth exterior as shown in the photo below. However, if the Magnum shipped after May 1960, it would have been most likely shipped in a mahogany case with a "clamshell" interior.
