Any Bs or Ns on R-Ns or rework dates on the frame?
Not an expert, but I'm inclined to think a letter might be required.

Pretty sure Jim Fisher and some others have the exact number of factory original nickel RMs (somewhere in the low-mid double digits), but it will probably take Roy Jinks or a letter of authenticity to narrow down to a specific SN.

It is in the right SN range to be one of the 5" nickel guns to go to Indiana. Do you know the barrel length and/or the registration number?

Tim Mullin book has s/n's 57078 (RM 4200) and 57088 (RM4191) both as 5" nickel to Indianapolis PD - but nothing in between. 4200 was in the 13 gun order.
