Default Ivory on early high-polish 32 Winchester

Beautiful fall day in Michigan. I’m heading to the cider mill later. I put these mellow ivory K magnas on my 1905 32 Winchester M&P just to see how they look. Of course they didn’t have magnas in 1905 but I still like the looks on the early high polish finish. I do have the original black hard rubber grips numbered to the gun. Bill

THAT IS THE VERY FIRST WINCHESTER REVOLVER THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN, IN OVER 60 YEARS OF SHOOTNG---AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL ! ! !

GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW MANY OF THEM I WALKED PAST, IN THE COUNTLESS GUN SHOWS THAT I HAVE VISITED. FOR THE FIRST 40+ YEARS, I WAS ONLY INTERESTED IN COLT DA REVOLVERS AND 1911s....

HAVING AN ITCH FOR A .44 MAGNUM, I EAGERLY ANTICIPATED THE AVAILABILITY OF THE NEW COLT ANACONDAS I WAS AN AVID PYTHON FAN, AND I WAS EXPECTING A PYTHON LIKE REVOLVER, CHAMBERED IN .44 MAGNUM. WHEN THE ANACONDA HIT THE SHOWCASE OF MY LGS IN 1990, I WAS SORELY DISAPPOINTED. IT WAS BUILT ON A VERY LARGE NEW FRAME, DESIGNATED AS THE "MM" SIZE. I COULD NOT WARM UP TO IT. SO IT WAS ONLY AT THAT POINT, WHEN I BEGAN TO HAVE AN INTEREST IN S&W REVOLVERS. THEY HAVE BECOME MY MAIN INTERES, AFTER PURCHASING MY FIRsT PAIR OF M629s....

THAT PAIR OF CARVED IVORIES IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS ! ! !

The .32 Winchester was another name for the .32-20 cartridge, as is .32 WCF. Other than a few experimental models, Winchester didn't make revolvers for sale.

S&W used several names for their .32-20 revolvers. The Winchester model was one name, the .32 Military & Police was another.
