K22 Outdoorsman back to original style
I had posted pictures of my recently purchased K22 Outdoorsman last week with the grips that had come with it. Even though the early post war diamond magnas are in great shape and fit perfect that is not how it came in 1935. Big thanks to 22hipower,he sent me a message when he seen it and had a pair of service stocks that are only a few hundred numbers away from my guns serial. I purchased them from him and with a little fitting finally got them on the gun. I took it out to the range today as the rear sight was set a little too high when it came to me. I got it shooting dead center now and its looking like a new original gun again. As a side note I know some of the k22's can be finicky with brass ejection but this gun is perfect they fall right out of the cylinder after firing. 22hipower is a great guy!! Thanks to him!

We have many real nice guys on this Forum. I know, as I am indebted to quite a few. BTW, nice revolver. I traded mine away a few months back for a deluxe Winchester M71 rifle. I got the best of the trade, but my friend really likes that old Outdoorsman 22. Big Larry

That’s a beautiful gun.
The early ones have an elegance that the later ribbed barrels
can’t quiet match.
