Regulation Police 32 Target
So a fellow enabler, paplinker, knows that I have an affinity for S&W 32s. He found this at his LGS, and since he didn't want it, he let me know it was available. Serial number is 276167. The gun has been refinished, but finding one of these pristine seems to be very difficult. The refinish is pretty good, and Mrs. Raljr1 has already said it would be fun to plink with down at the farm. I showed her this one at the same time I showed her my, recently acquired, nickel 35-1......she asked how much they cost, and I replied, about the same as one of those botox treatments .....touche....total cost for this one $870.....about right in my estimation for one that has been refinished ..

Hi Robert,
I agree, a very well done re-blue. And a good price even for re-done.
Enjoy,

Nice catch, being refinished you can enjoy it. The grips look comfortable to shoot with. Larry

Here is its cousin. My first 32 target, This one was also refinished, and has a mismatched cylinder. It took me a while to get this one in good operating form.

I was going to guess the grips were either Sile or Herrett products. The original RP grips fit me just about as well as any grips for a small frame (for fore reason, the I-frame 2-screw Targets just don’t speak to me) but those aftermarket grips are comfortable as well.
My RP Target has some small finish issues from poor storage but is otherwise pretty nice. The one feature I DIS-like about mine is the tiny, narrow front sight blade. I much prefer the sights on my HFT that include a gold Call bead so my old eyes have something to focus on.
A light weight, small frame 32 as a target gun is not that practical nor competitive, but for sheer fun in range or field? Unbeatable!
