HE 1905 4th date mfg.
Hello all , just picked up a HE 1905 4th change this weekend . It is a real nice shape , about 90% condition . It is all matching and correct . The sn# is 4426997. Could someone provide the approx. date it was made please ?

First half of 1923, April plus/minus a month most likely. One digit too many, though. If the double-4 is the mistake, then a bit earlier.

s/n 4262xx shipped 4/22. It is a 5" barrel.

I'm curious. Does this gun say Made in U.S.A. on the right side of the frame, just below the front of the cylinder and ahead of the trigger guard? I suspect not, but it is right on the cusp of that being added.
