Default My 1st Triple Lock

Just picked this up as I thought I needed one for my collection. 1912 vintage, shipped in 1916.#10508. 100% matching numbers. Big Larry

Nice! You'll find they're like potato chips- can't only have just one!

Had a chance at the rare target model a few weeks back. It looked like it had been a boat anchor so I passed. It was more $$$ than this one. I do have a 2nd Model Target, so I really do not need any more. Big Larry

Me too, but that didn't stop me from getting a few TL's. IMO the pinnacle of S&W machining expertise.

Very nice TL! I read somewhere that the .44 TL was also referred to as "Golden Seal". Can't find the reference in my library...yet.

Not for shooting. Mostly shoot 22's now as the arthritis has overcome my hands. I do most of my shooting on a bench with 22 rifles. This revolver is over 100 years old and I don't want to shoot it anyway. Thanks all for the nice comments. Big Larry

The other side has a spot about the size of a dime. The owner penned his name and the serial number on the inside of the left stock in green ink. The right stock has the peciled number of the gun. I don't know what caused the spot, but I believe it to be man made. I have no other pics yet and the gun is at my buddys house getting Ren Waxed. Big Larry
