Default 22 Outdoorsman with Roper-ish stocks

A recent addition to the stable.
It came with the, for the lack of better words, Roper-ish stocks.
Nice color and grain on the stocks, beautiful case hardening on the trigger/ hammer. I have big hands and find the issue stocks way too small, these fit like a dream. I can see why the grip adapters and later the target stocks become so popular.
Slight wear on the muzzle and ejector rod, overall a nice example.
A good friend donated some period factory stocks that look great, but the Roper-ish stocks fit my hand so so much better.
Any ideas who made the stocks?
Thanks
Rick

Very nice and I like the “Roper-ish”stocks as well.
Wished the 22 Outdoorsman I ran across a month or two back would have been that nice. Turned out to be a re-blue.

Beautiful gun the stocks look as if whomever made the drew inspiration from some Heavy Frame 22 Target Stocks they are beautiful as well.

I don't know who made those stocks, but I'd order three sets for my three Masterpieces if I could! They look like a great combination of beauty and functionality and set that Outdoorsman off nicely. Congratulations.

I would assume them to be genuine Ropers if I saw them. But I am no expert on Ropers. How are you sure they aren't real?

OP is right. The separating uncheckered line is not in the Roper/Gagne style. Also, another strong hint (perhaps not a proof) is the complete lack of typical Gagne jig marks on the inside of the grips. Look at a bunch of Roper grips and I am sure that you will agree.
