Default 32 HE 1st Model Hammer Main Spring

Hi All, I was cleaning my 32 Hand Ejector 1st Model, pulled the hammer back and SNAP! Broken main spring. Numrich says the proverbial, "Out of Stock." Anyone know where I might obtain one? Thanks

Check this out: S&W 1896 .32 Hand Ejector "I" frame, first model – Jack First Inc.

You'll see that two different springs are listed for the 32 1st Model - Model of 1896. They can't both be right!

Measure your mainspring. I think you'll find that yours might measure closer to the one that's still in stock.

Thanks Hondo! You were right. Mine measured about 2 13/16" (2.8123"). The shorter one from Jack Frost is 2.860" and it's the one in stock. I ordered it.
