Default Nickel post war .38 M&P

I have had this one for a year or 2 now and I notice that I have not seen a whole lot of these in nickel during the C prefix era(early 50's).I have only seen one on this forum and it was a very early post war, like 1946, so it was atill a long action a S prefix I believe. Mine is clearly marked with a N under the barrel flat so I am sure it is original. A shame it has one good scratch and it is right through the S&W on the sideplate. Anybody else with an early 50's nickel m&p???

Ask and you shall receive. That is a very nice one delcrossv! They look much better without the scratch. Mine must have been in law enforcement at some point because the right grip is also beat up but the left is in perfect condition so that right side was exposed.

I've got a pair of C prefix nickel ones that I found at pawn shops. A 1948 4" (C35XXX) and a 1951 2" (C182XXX). I found some correct grips for the 4" but don't have any pictures of it with them on it.

Here's my Nickel Post War M&P - the only photo I have. I'll try to get another shot of it tomorrow. Photo added.

That's a beauty. I have two nickels; one from the 1920's and this one from 1967.
