Any help dating a post-war .32 hand ejector SN 573273 would be greatly appreciated!

Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson 4th Edition is not much help, lists serial number range 536685-712953 as 1946-1960. Extrapolation puts your revolver closer to 1946, but that's just speculation on my part. There are folks here who keep their own databases and they will probably get you closer to a shipping date.

Close #s in my database put it in the 1st quarter of 1952, the proviso that they did not ship in numerical order.
That would make it a 32 Hand Ejector Improved I frame -1st version if it has a round butt.
