Year of manufacture?
Inherited S&W Model 30 .32 long handgun from grandfather.
From what I can gather was manufactured between 1948-1957?
Details:
3 inch barrel
5 screws (4th in front of trigger guard)
Has strain screw
# on butt of gun 62772
Any way to determine exact year of manufacture?
Worth? (see attached photos - has only been shot twice)

That is not a Model 30, but a much earlier ancestor.
With that serial 62772, you have a .32 Hand Ejector, Model of 1903, 2nd Change, likely from about 1907 (+/-).

Welcome to the forum. That's a nice one. Going to be hard to keep up the examples.

I have a sibling of yours, #94348. It’s seen a fuller life than yours. Not bad for 110+ years old.

Welcome to the forum.
These actually have 3 1/4" barrels.
Tell us more about only being shot twice; one cartridge each time?
