Default Stock Identification Help

Found a box of parts and wondering if someone can educate me on these 2 grips? Thanks
1 set has silver medallions, stamped NR inside and has a dowel type pin
2nd set I do not see any markings
I am going to put them up for sale but would like to provide accurate info on them.

Thee first set are factory N frame Magna stocks. I don’t see a serial number stamped on the right panel, so they were probably sold as replacement parts. The grip pin is a bonus.

The second set are aftermarket target stocks, probably for a Colt I frame. Not sure who made them.

Goldcrown,

Welcome to the forum. The first set are S&W factory N frame Magnas from 1968 to 1971 based on having the black locater disc. The dowel or pin should have remained in the gun. The second set are after market targets, possibly for an N frame or K,L frames. I am not sure of the manufacturer.

You are correct. I looked at the photo quickly on my tablet and only saw the large sweeping arch on the back. Now I see that’s in the background. Good call!

If it were me. I would buy or trade for a Round Butt N frame to have a S&W to put them on. They are pretty
