Default The last of my Model 27s

Not all that long ago I had 10 Model 27s and I'v sold 7 of them.
If I could take one back it would probably be the 5" M627-2.

These are my keepers. Top to bottom.
1960 6.5" M27. My favorite.
1975 5" M27-2
1968 6" nickel M27-2

The 5" M627-2 was just cool looking.

You guys are made out of much sterner stuff than me. I have not been able to part with any model 27 since they have migrated into my herd. But, if I could only keep one or two revolvers, they would be Model 27's and their pre-equivalents...

I had one. A Model 27-2 with a red ramp front sight. Traded it to a forum member for another revolver. I really like the N frame but those tiny holes make it heavy.

Thank you. I love them too.

I asked George with Salt Lake Collectibles a few months ago if he could find me a nice set and he did.

They are like brand new. I couldn't be happier.

It was tough to part with most of the ones I sold.
A couple of them were very nice and very collectible.

I get a little comfort knowing that maybe a few of their new owners appreciate them more than I did.

That probably sounds dumb.
