Odd N frame grips....I've seen similar...any idea of maker ?
No metal washers or markings on the inside of them.
Any guesses ?

Do they have steel washers by chance?
I’ve seen similarly shaped sets but never with the circles around the escutcheon.

Need to see the backs if you have access to a photo or can shoot and post a photo.
I've also seen similar but w/o the circles.

I'll get one Jim.
They are at a friend's shop.
They are held by the wood being cut to fit into the frame like service stocks.
Doc''s thread reminded me to try and find out something about them if possible today.

What color are they and can you describe the material they are made of ?
The circle around the escutcheon with the two smaller circles, equally spaced , are quite distinctive ... I've seen that design somewhere ...but can't , of course , recall a name.
I'm going to look through some old gun catalogs and see if I can find something . What does back look like ?

I will go through my pictures this weekend. I have looked at grips just like these on two different K22 ODs
Almost bought the gun for the grips the first time day.
The seller sent me pictures of the back.
Also I have a single panel that looks just like them but has a diamond center.
Holding that panel in hand I am noticing it has two square jig marks on the back. Also some man made markings like ropers often do.
Similar scrawling on a roper set I have

Very cool Rich.
I really hope not to see jig holes when I get that picture.
I told the guy I would try to find out about them and he has always treated me right.
Anything I find out he'll know.
Of course I'll let him also know if they depart.
I'd make a good home....: )

So that scrawling is absolutely Roper.
Shame thats a single panel, those are just some unusual Ropers in my opinion.

Well they do have "a" jig mark.
Pretty interesting I think.

Looks like I see the second one, They also look like they are lined up how you normally see them positioned around the grip screw.
Wonder if the screw is a prewar S&W thread,or postwar.

Bumping this up to see if anyone has some similar.
I'll also be checking if they fit a pre or post war frame.
Riches and these appear to me to be done by the same hand.

I could find nothing in the many old Gun Digest , Shooter's Bibles and catalogs I have but I know I have seen that distinctive 3 circles ...maybe in an old gun magazine advertisement in the dim dark distant past ...
Sorry I couldn't come up with a maker.
