The Vega-imported Australians are usually (almost always
) unmolested except for the FTR-owed phosphate- type refinish of frame and barrel. So original barrel length, no converted cylinder, original but often non-matching stocks that got mixed up during the FTR, and original case-colored hammer and trigger. Non-FTR’d original-finish Australian Victorys happen, but are VERY rare.
Since the seller mentioned Australian “proofs” on the right (where no such proofs, but the FTR marks are to be found), that’s what you can likely expect.
If it is in decent shape, 325 is a very good price. Below for comparison an FTR’d Australian I got for 375 a few years ago and was quite happy about.
