Default Thread compatability?

How different are the threads on a 31-1 and an I frame hand ejector in .32 long? Or are they?

Thanks

Barrel threads should be the same. Side plate screws may be different.

Barrel threads are the same on all I frames and J frames and all side plate screws after the war, until the yoke screw/front side plate was enlarged in the lte '70s to incorporate the spring loaded yoke screw

Before the war sideplate screws have the same thread but the screw thread diameter was slightly smaller until after the when slightly enlarged to conform to the National Standard.

The grip screw changed after the war in about the '60s to a #3.
