Default Scored a nice one this week!

The S&W gods have been smiling on me lately. A 38/44 Oudoorsman a month or so ago and this beautiful K-22 this week. Serial # puts it about 1953, all numbers match. It is almost perfect, a faint turn line and not shot much at all. No bluing loss on the barrel and some very nice case colors on the hammer. This one will join several others in the safe. This one will probably not get shot, have two other that shoot just fine.

That's a beauty. Usually the bluing is worn off of the ejector rod.

That’s a beauty OP! I have a very close relative that’s a favorite of mine. Note that I shoot it sparingly with the targets and keep the original magnas in the gold box.

Yes you did score a nice one OP!

I just picked up this one last month. It is not quite as clean as yours. I have shot it several times with the original Magnas that are on it, but would like to find some nice non-relieved target stocks for it too. Shipped from the factory in January 1951.

S.D. Myres holster courtesy of turnerriver. I already had the holster before I got the K-22, but they seem to go well together.

OP, you definitely found a good 'un. Terry, I thought you were going to say you bought the gun, and as you were leaving, the seller said, "Oh yeah, I think I still got the holster for that one. Let me get it for ya." Fantastic gun and holster!
