Victory Model Prices?
I haven't paid any attention to prices for these in many years. A friend was trying to buy one I have laying around so we started checking online prices. They seem insanely high to me. Many in the $1,500.00 to as high as $2,500.00???? I remember them being sub 200 and hard to sell. What gives? Or are these people looking for suckers.

There are some unusual variations that could sell in that higher price range, or more. But a typical used but all original Victory, U. S. or British, would be in the $400-$800 range depending on condition and markings (or lack of markings).

A plain jane Victory around my neck of the woods would go for $450 to $500. I couldn't comment on more unusual examples - but we have some folks on the Forum that are well qualified to address those guns.

I got this Navy-marked Victory, wrong grips, no lanyard ring, for the price shown a couple of months ago. Its the most I’ve paid for any of the five or six I’ve bought.

Indeed. Adjust this downward if it's one of the large percentage of Victorys with modifications or deficiencies, starting with mismatched stocks and missing lanyard swivel.
Do not confuse asking prices on platforms like Gunbroker with actual market prices paid.
"Insanely high" is a term some people would apply to prices paid for genuine 2" Victorys. But these are a special case and very rare.
