Default Pre Model 27 8 3/8' 1956

Here's my favorite revolver in my small collection. Serial numbers all match and shoots as you would hope.

I find the taper barrel of the 357 not muzzle heavy at all in the longer length.

I agree with Art Doc. I routinely shoot mine "NRA Bullseye" style with .38 wadcutters. Hangs very nicely on target. In fact, the only thing that could make that gun better would be to make it shiny (oh wait, mine IS shiny!!)

It's the reason I enjoy the model 27 over the 29. The taper is nice. I actually enjoy shooting it 1 handed almost as much as 2 although I need much more practice before I can do it consistently.

Now I'm just waiting on a model 57 in the same length
