Default K22 target stocks question

I just dug out some old target stocks that I've had for some time (40 years) and was wondering just what they are. They fit my big hand very comfortably, and work on both my K22 Masterpiece and 10-5. I have the original stocks for both guns, and like to use these for shooting.
The only marking is stamped 'Made in Italy' on the inside.
The finish is pretty thick, and I was thinking that if they weren't anything special or collectible I might strip and refinish them, maybe with a darker stain. Otherwise I'll just enjoy them for what they are, whatever they are.

I agree they came from Sile.

As for refinishing them to suit your taste, I'd say go for it. They are well made foreign stocks, but as-new they don't carry a huge value, and a refinish simply isn't a big deal. So, do with them as you please.

Sile is a foreign company? They made stocks for the early 60's Colt Trooper pre mark 111's. My revolver is a 22 and has the service type stocks, and they are marked Sile. According to those in the know, they are correct. Thanks, Big Larry

Hey, thanks everyone for the quick and accurate responses, you guys are great!
I just wanted to be careful about what these are, since I discovered that an old Safety Hammerless that was given to me back in the '70's has a pair of Roper grips that I have come to appreciate for their workmanship and rarity.
