Smile 44 Magnum on Cover of Book

This rare, 5-screw 44 Magnum with a nickel finish was featured on the cover of the 44 Magnum book published in December 2019. For those of you who have the book in your library, you may notice the cover of yours is slightly different than this one, which is the proof copy. When Roy Jinks and I reviewed the proof copy, one of few changes we made was to replace the photo of Winchester ammunition with Remington ammunition, since that company developed the 44 Magnum cartridge.

Click on the photo for a better look.

Bill, was just wondering do you have many shooters in your collection. I know you wouldn't shoot the rare and unfired nice ones we enjoy. or maybe like me and just don't shoot that much anymore.(don't see as good as I used to).................................M*

I still shoot quite often as the range I belong to is only ten minutes from my house. I have several S&W and Ruger 44 Magnums I shoot as well as my Sig P229 in .357 Sig with an extra barrel in .40 S&W. I also have a Colt 1911 and a couple of SAAs in 44 Special caliber. I have several different calibers of rifles (mostly Browning) I enjoy shooting.
