Any Idea when these were made?
One is a HE the other 3 1/4" is a Regulation police. Got the 4 1/4" on off back-page for a steal the other off GB. Both are great shape outside, little pitting in the barrels but both don't seem to mind! I stuck some aftermarket "J" Frame grips on them cause the grips they came with are so dinky! The HE is #2814XX and the RP is #3810XX. Cheap to shoot! Accurate out to over 100 meters on steel! Are the cylinders heat treated?

Hey Sergeant! I answered your question on the other forum. The hand ejector was likely made in 19 17 or 19 19 and the regulation police was made in 1924. Hand ejector is not heat treated but the regulation police is.

So would 3.5grs of Unique be too much for either one and the little cast RCBS 98 gr SWC? Cases just drop out without pushing the ejector rod. I used to shoot the Rainer Plated 100gr HP but they are out of business. I only have a little more that 500+ of those. The cast bullets shoot great.

The one on the far right is either a CZ 82 or 83. The 82 was 9mm Mak and the 83 was 380. Both are great shooters

3.5 grs of Unique seems a bit much for a couple of old revolvers. The manufacturer recommends 2.8 gr max....no reason to push it in those old gems.

I was using data from this web site.......good article.
Cases just fall out with out pushing the ejector rod.
