That's a real beauty ! ... I wish my first year HP (S1177xx) was as nice. I'm sure "Bernie" was very happy to receive it from his friends at Cengas. I was happy to get it about 60 years later. 1950's S&W N frame goodness is hard to beat !!

What a gift! Do you know if the exotic carved wood came on it then or did you add them later? Either way, that's pretty cool.
