Help with gun Identification please
Just came into possession of a S&W 22LR pistol and would like to know what model and anything else that you can tell me (year, etc)
Here's what I do know:
Hand ejector
Serial #551
22LR
Barrel length 4"
Sights look like Hand Ejector Post War
Looks like 4 screws, no trigger guard screw
Thank you for your time and information

Welcome to the forum!
Sounds like an early Model of 1953 .22/32 Kit Gun.
I'll move this to the S&W Hand Ejectors: 1986 to 1961 section.

Welcome to the Forum.
We need some more info, such as the caliber stamped on the side of the barrel. Complete pictures will help a lot.

At least one photo of the entire gun would take a lot of mystery out of this puzzle. If you're having trouble flipping the photos upright, take your photos with gun upside down and post them.
Your other post has much more substantive informati0n which makes it likely you have a .22/32 Kit Gun Model of 1953 NEW I frame from March or April 1954.
