Looking for Instruction Books with Exoloded or Interior Views
https://unblinkingeye.com/Guns/32HE/...View-c1948.jpg
Sometime in the 1940's, and possibly earlier, S&W was sending out an instruction sheet entitled Helpful Hints for the greater effectiveness and enjoyment of your Smith & Wesson Revolver. I am looking for a clean, high-resolution scan of this document that I can use for an article I plan to write about the evolution of the .32 Hand Ejector. Can anyone help?
And while I'm asking, I would also be grateful for any scans of early Smith & Wesson instructions, especially those showing exploded or interior views of any .32 Hand Ejector. In particular I'm looking for such a document for a First Model .32 Hand Ejector, if such exists.

I am selling these.
They have never been folded nor placed into any gun boxes. They are as perfect as I have ever seen.

I haven't double checked to be absolutely certain Chicoine's Antique Firearms Assembly/Disassembly has a schematic, along with myriad photographs of the process; but I'll be surprised if it doesn't.
And I'll be happy to send copies of any and all there if they're not available to you otherwise.

Maybe not exactly what your looking for, but I recently bought this and think it's pretty cool.

You'll find excellent info on the different versions of "Helpful Hints" here:
Helpful Hints Pamphlet Variations
The 1st version is dated 7/51 as I recall, so they weren't used until then.
I did not find anything about the 32 HE Model 1896 - 1st Model in Chicoine's book mentioned above.

Page 298, Hondo-------unless I've got the wrong gun---says "Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector First Model (Model of 1896)". Yes?
Ralph Tremaine
Let me know, 'cause he's sent a PM wanting the material.

Yes, there are 8pages of info/photo's in Chicoine's Antique Firearms Assembly/Disassembly.
Hopefully still available, I bought mine long before he passed away.

It's available at Amazon for $120 in paperback, or a Kindle download for $15... ...Ben

I have a S&W catalog of parts that includes the .32 Hand Ejector. I also included a page from the 85th Anniversary Catalog that shows the .32 Hand Ejector. Hope this helps!

S&W shop manual
Jerry Kuhnhausen's 'S&W Revolvers - A Shop Manual, 5th Edition' has a ton of exploded diagrams along with fine detail on every conceivable disassembly, repair/replace, test, and assembly step. It's $39 @ Amazon. A great companion to the Chicoine book.
Cheers,
Alden
